This Friday, gyms around the El Paso area are having a Row/Run for Rick, to benefit local gym owner Ricardo Cano to help him with rising medical costs. Ricardo Cano is the owner of Samson Fitness in Horizon and a local athlete who has competed in various CrossFit competitions. He inspires many in the local fitness community with his drive and constant positive training techniques make a great trainer and overall joy to be around. Unfortunately, a sudden medical emergency has been a major setback for Cano and the local fitness community is coming together to help Rick in his time of need.

At the end of December, Rick was hospitalized with a blood clot and in the ICU. After various complications and setbacks, Rick is currently at an in-patient facility while he relearns how to walk and will be there for at least another 30 days. This will be a long road to recovery for him and his family and the El Paso fitness community is coming together to help our fellow athlete in need.

This Friday, March 29th StayReady CrossFit will be holding a 24 hour Row/Run for Rick to raise money for his medical bills and expenses. The gym is looking for teams to participate for $1 a minute to complete the 24-hour goal. The event will start at noon on Friday and continue for 24-hours straight. Any questions about the Row/Run for Rick call  915-345-6599 and ask for Richy or message the StayReady CrossFit Facebook or Instagram page.
