20 Toys Listeners Always Wanted But Never Got to Own

It's that time of year again, December is the biggest gift-giving month in the world which means it is the time of year where you ask your kids what they want for Christmas and they return to you a list full of toys they want this year. It's also the time of year where the hottest toys around could be a bit harder to find.

With shipping delays this year, toys shortages are expected, and as we get closer and closer to Christmas, it looks like the hunt for the hottest toys may become a little harder. This year's hard-to-get and most in-demand gift is called "Magic Mixies"- which is a magic cauldron playset. It's like "Tickle Me Elmo" and "Cabbage Patch Dolls" all over again!

While others fight their way through price gouging, and literal fist fights, I decided instead to ask you all a different question about toys. We took to our Facebook pages to ask our listeners: What toy did you always want as a kid, but sadly never got? And boy did you guys have grievances to air!

So many answers, so many toys we never got!

If I had to answer, I would say the toy I never got was the Talk Boy, you know from "Home Alone 2"? It wasn't even a real toy at first, and then the success of the movie drove Tiger Electronics to create one.

Sadly, I never got one- but I will say I got some great gifts growing up so it evens out I guess. But, still, check out how great this was!
