WTF Wednesday — Cool, Yet Creepy, Israeli Technology Wipes Out Enemy Missiles [VIDEO]

This is pretty cool.  It's also pretty scary to imagine having to live with this scenario on a daily basis!

You have to admit though, they sure do make this look easy.  Watch the Israeli "Iron Dome" defense system as it nails 15 .. yes, 15 .. incoming missiles.  All at one time!

Israel developed this system to thwart enemy missile attacks by destroying the incoming missiles before they reach their intended targets.  Pretty simple process really:

• Radar tracks the enemy missile as it crosses the border.
• Advanced software then predicts the missile's path.
• An interceptor missile is then fired from the ground at the enemy missile to destroy it while still airborne. (Typically, over an area where falling debris will cause minimal damage.)

All in a matter of seconds!  Simple huh?
