I'm going to go on a limb and say this isn't the type of thing GoFundMe expected to be used for. But apparently it works.

The website GoFundMe has been used for many worthy causes, but there are some people who do abuse the page. Many people are upset with a woman who used the website to try and get money remove a huge "420" tattoo off of her forehead.

Tabitha West put up a GoFundMe page to try and get people to donate $800 to get the tattoo removed. Here's what she said about the ink and the page:

I am wanti,g $ to get that tattoo off my for head I want to have a better start out in life and have a second chance at life please help me I was young n dumb when I got that I'm older one looking for a job can't get out and people call me a druggie every day of my life and being called 420 is not nice and I almost killed my self over it. ..can't stand to look at my face anymore. .save a life save me..invest in me and I will show you I can be better with my life. ..thank you

After the page went viral, many chastised the woman for using the page for this reason.

Even her brother, wrote something about how what she was doing was wrong:

After the page went viral, West now has more than the $800, people have pledged almost $1,000 to her. One woman also offered to pay for the entire tattoo removal. People continue to donate to her, while others continue to tell her how horrible it is for her to be asking for this money.

Here's what Tabitha West updated the page saying after it went viral:

Thank you to the people whom wished me luck and wasn't down on me for putting this on this site but someone had a house fire told me about this and friends so I gave a whirl after I said to my self for years I wouldn't but I did so people that disliked my fund raiser you can kiss my ass sorry. .you just hating because there are people whom care about people like me..so step back please. ..and thank you to people whom also donated to me. ..

Hopefully she actually does get the tattoo removed.
