Four people were trapped in a Northeast arroyo during Saturday's afternoon storm. According to ABC-7 three people were able to get out of the arroyo but one woman did not.

For nearly an hour, rescuers searched for the women by stabbing poles through the accumulation of frozen pebble-sized hail. They found the woman once one of the sticks hit her body.

ABC-7 did capture the moment when the woman was pulled onto dry land and rescuers performed CPR until EMT was able to transporter her to University Medical Center.

The woman passed away in the hospital on Monday.
