“What the Buzz” Podcast is Back- Quarantine Edition

"What the Buzz" is back! That's right, Emily and I finally figured out a way for us to be able to record our podcast, because really, we've missed you. Did you miss us too? The episode, "Live from our Houses," is now available wherever you get your podcasts! Because we are broadcasting from our own homes, the quality won't be studio perfect but it is comprehensible. We also have some special guests: our cats! Thanks to the help of Microsoft Teams, Emily and I were able to record ourselves, both audio and visually, in the comfort of our homes.

In our last episode, which was in February, we were so optimistic for the year ahead, and now we're in June and boy have things changed. In this episode Emily and I take the time to catch up. Emily has been working from home since the pandemic started, so I haven't seen her since March. At last we left Emily, she was getting ready to move into a new house and was busy preparing for her wedding. Well, Emily moved into her house, but, unfortunately, her wedding is up in the air. Emily also tells us about her harrowing ordeal with her health at the beginning of the pandemic.

In our last episode, I was getting ready to celebrate a birthday and was preparing for a trip to Disneyland. Well, my birthday came and went and my trip to Disneyland never happened. I detail the emotional roller-coaster I went through after cancelling my trip and what I've been up as an "essential worker". In the craziness that is this pandemic, we're very happy to be able to bring you a new episode and hope to improve how we broadcast from home. We just wanted to give a little update!
