Western Playland Announces Their Reopening Plans

We've eaten all our broccoli, so how long till we can go visit Western Playland? As life in the Borderland returns to normal, we're seeing more businesses open their doors and welcome the public back. Local amusement park Western Playland shut its doors almost exactly one year ago on March 23rd and fans weren't sure when they would be able to ride the Himalayan or hop on Pharaoh's Fury again.

The last update we saw from the company was back in July when they said they would be ready to open when COVID restrictions were lifted but since then, nothing has been heard. Finally, it looks like we have an update as to when we can see Western Playland open again and if you're looking for a job, they're hiring.

According to the Western Playland website, the amusement park will open again on April 2nd, 2021. Hours of operations have not yet been announced.

Western Playland is also hiring right now. The amusement park posted on its Facebook page that they are currently hiring for weekend hours and seasonal part-time employment. If you are interested and are over 16 years of age, you can apply at the Western Playland website.
