TRAFFIC ALERT: UTEP Commencement

The University of Texas at El Paso will hold a single spring 2014 Commencement ceremony at the Sun Bowl starting at 7:00 P.M. because its the centennial this year. Check out the traffic map so you know where and where not to park!

Some information the University would like to remind family and friends is:

Baby strollers, balloons, noise makers, glass
containers, tripods, coolers and ice chests, laser pens/pointers,
fireworks, and signs and banners that impede visibility of
other patrons, are not permitted in the Sun Bowl.
Reserving seats is not allowed.

Please refer to the map below for the location of each parking lot. Plan ahead to secure the best parking. Please do not park in any RESERVED parking lots. Leave strollers and carriages in your car.

Parking for Candidates: Lots R-2, R-3, R-4, R-5 (accessible from Sun Bowl Dr.)

Parking for Faculty and Staff: Lot P-9 (accessible from North Mesa St.)

General Parking:

FREE PARKING--Lots S-3, S-4 and Sun Bowl Parking Garage (accessible from Sun Bowl Dr.)

FREE PARKING--Lots P-1, P-2, P-3, P-4, and Schuster Parking Garage (accessible from Schuster Ave.) Shuttle service for this group of parking lots to the stadium will be available following the UTEP football game parking plan.

PARKING WITH $10 FEE-- Glory Road Transfer Center & Parking Garage (accessible from Glory Rd. at Mesa St.)

ADA Parking:

ADA PARKING PERMIT REQUIRED--Lots P-7, P-9, R-6. ADA Shuttle service for Lot R-6 to the stadium will be available.
