Avenged Sevenfold- Hail To The King

One of the biggest rock bands out there, Avenged Sevenfold released "Hail To The King" this past August to show they're not going anywhere. Not to mention their live show, which is one of the best out there.

    Alice In Chains - Hollow

One of the kindest bands I have ever met, I was humbled to be in their presence, especially after hearing their new masterpiece, "The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here." "Hollow" includes some wonderful harmonizing from WIlliam DuVall and Jerry Cantrell that brings back the classing sound of Alice In Chains.

    Korn - Love And Meth

Bring back the classic Korn I have known and loved since elementary school! With the return of Brian "Head Welch" to the band, I had so many hopes for the album. The first single didn't give me the feeling that the old greatness of Korn was back, but with "Love and Meth," I knew they had something really special. Written mostly by Head, they needed his genius to create this song.

Dream Theater - The Enemy Inside

Dream Theater has just been nominated for a Grammy for their song,"Th Enemy Inside" and rightly so. The video is extremely powerful as well, featuring a soldier suffering from PTSD, trying to reintegrate himself back into civilian life. The song was actually written after the Boston bombings, when the topic of PTSD was brought up in the news. The band believed this is something that should be brought to people's attention.

Five Finger Death Punch ft. Rob Halford - Lift Me Up

This song I blast every time I hear it on the radio. Five Finger Death Punch are huge in the rock world right now and they must have thought " Guys, we made it!" when they were able to work with the metal god himself Rob Halford.

    Volbeat - Lola Montez

This song was voted by Buzz to be one of his favorite songs of the year. His exact words: "The song sounds like nothing else I have heard out there right now." Not to mention the band is even being recognized by the Grammys, being nominated for Best Metal Performance.

Dave Grohl, Paul McCartney, Krist Novoselic & Pat Smear - Cut Me Some Slack

Genius meets genius with this dream mash-up of the former members of Nirvana and former Beatles member Paul McCartney. Not only did they perform this song together, they also co wrote it.

    Huntress - Zenith

The metal goddess herself Jill Janus brought metal to the galaxies with her song "Zenith." A classically trained opera singer, former ballerina, blonde, professional DJ and more, Jill Janus shows us that she is eager and ready to stay in the rock industry.

    Deftones - Tempest

When the Deftones first released the single "Tempest," fans were happy to see they were back with some great material. The chorus of this song begs to be cranked up to the highest volume when you play it. The song comes from the idea that the world was supposed to end on December 21st, 2012, according to the Mayan Calendar.

    Pop Evil - Trenches

As we saw a few years ago at Ballonfest, Pop Evil has one of the most energetic stage shows out there. Always working in the rock trenches, fighting to get to the top, Pop Evil really showed their rock chops with "trenches." This is a band I see really big things coming from them in the next few years. Keep watching them I think they are on their way to the top.
