We are constantly warned about the dangers of texting and driving, but people still take that risk. A Colorado woman decided to sending a quick text as she was driving, when she slammed into a guardrail.

Christina Jahnz, was already late for a meeting, when she was asked by her daughter to drop off her saxophone at her middle school. Rushing to make it on time for the meeting, Jahnz looked down at her phone to send a quick text, when she crashed.

"The next thing I knew I was looking up there was white powder from the air bags deployed," she recalled.

Firefighters were able to cut the rail and get Jahz out of the car. She was rushed to the hospital and luckily,  went through emergency surgery without a problem.

"I'm truly a miracle. They said if it gone just a little bit the other way I would have bled out," Jahnz said. "Devastating knowing that I could have prevented it to begin with."

Jahnz was incredibly lucky to survive this accident, but this story is another reminder of just how dangerous texting while driving is.
