Racing fans all over the Borderland have something to look forward to in Vado this weekend ... just in time for Father's Day!

Father's Day weekend, stock car racing is back as the Vado Speedway Park opens Sunday!  Owner Royal Jones told KFOX that the park will be more than just a racetrack:

"It could be, not as nice as the stadium for baseball, but we’re kind of comparing to that and just using ideas that we’ve gotten from all over the country to make a really nice place where families can come and enjoy the races," said Jones. "And later on we’re going to do monster truck shows, tractor pulls, concerts, fights. There’s no limit to what we can do. We’re right here between El Paso and Las Cruces." - KFOXTV.com
