These are the best of times for Volbeat, as the band is riding a serious hot streak. Part of that success is due to their 'Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies' disc, and there's no doubt that album title evokes images of the American west.

Volbeat are taking the idea of 'Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies' to a new extreme, with the ultimate shady character appearing in their new video for 'Lonesome Rider.' The clip finds a young woman crossing paths with the Grim Reaper out on the Western plains.

Volbeat fans get excited! You can check out the Danish dudes when they head to the area in just a few months!

If there was any doubt left that Anthrax amicably parted ways with guitarist Rob Caggiano, this video will likely erase it. Caggiano now mans the guitar for Danish rockers Volbeat, and during the band's Sept. 16 gig in Los Angeles, Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian was invited onstage to perform the Volbeat track 'Pool of Booze, Booze, Booza,' which was preceded by a small piece of Anthrax's 'I Am the L

Volbeat has become one of my favorite bands over the last couple years, with their cool sound, immense heaviness, and fantastic vocals.  They even have interesting guest musician choices on their albums. The new CD, Outlaw Gentlemen and Shady Ladies features Sarah Blackwood from Walk Off The Earth on a song called "Lonesome Rider", and the legend King Diamond sings on "Room 24"
