Check Out Avenged Sevenfold’s New Video for “So Far Away” [VIDEO]

Avenged Sevenfold has released the new video for their song "So Far Away" for late drummer The Rev.
The clip is described as a "raw and emotional" tribute to late AVENGED drummer Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, who died in December 2009 from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. The track itself, which appears on the band's current "Nightmare" album, is said in a press statement to be a "very personal goodbye" to Sullivan.

Mike Mangini Is Dream Theater’s New Drummer [VIDEO]

Part three of the Dream Theater documentary traking the selection of their new drummer came out at 9 this morning. As a lot of people were already guessing, Mike Mangini was selected to fill Mike Portnoy's drums shoes.

There were a lot of clues, such as the other front runner stating a few months ago that he wasn't the new drummer, Mike Mangini cancelling his teaching gig at Berkley College of Music in Boston, etc.
