But when Judge John “Jay” Hurley decided the light pushing and shoving that had gone down after the birthday snub didn’t warrant any further incarceration, he hit Bray with a sentence that some fellows are going to think cruel and unusual.

Federal Judge Blocks Law Requiring Graphic Photos on Cigarette Packs

In a 29-page decision on Monday, US District Judge Richard J. Leon blocked the implementation of a law on graphic cigarette photos. It would’ve required tobacco companies to include explicit photos detailing the dangers of smoking on cigarette packages.

The 36 images proposed by the Food and Drug Administration include a picture of diseased lungs next to healthy lungs, a man exhaling smoke through a hole in his throat, and a male cadaver with chest staples down his torso.

A family law judge in Texas is now under investigation after his daughter posted a video of him beating her with a viciously beating her in 2004 for downloading music and games off the internet. The nearly eight minute video shows the judge whipping his daughter with a belt and getting more irate as she refuses to bend over the bed to get beaten.
