New Pantera!! It's here ... finally!! Check it out!!! F*** YEAH!!!!!!!
In American history, December 7th is one of our darkest days. In rock history, it's December 8th.
Today (Dec. 8 ) marks seven years since the tragic death of Dimebag Darrell and three other victims at a Damageplan show in Columbus, Ohio. Guitarist Zakk Wylde recently talked to Revolver about what Dimebag meant to the metal community as well as the legacy he leaves behind.
The annual "Ride For Dime" event was recently held in Dallas. I have wanted to go to this thing forever. I still haven't made it up there but, this year, I can take us all there virtually!! :)
Lot's to celebrate birthday - wise this month!
PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott's longtime girlfriend Rita Haney told "Metal Zone" host Nikki Blakk of the San Francisco, California radio station 107.7 The Bone that this year's Dimebash event — in honor of Dimebag — will be held on December 8 at the world-famous Key Club on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California.
Dimebag must be so proud!!
Hi, me again! Blogging along and doing something I rarely .. if ever .. do. Posting depressing stuff.
I have to though; in the annals of rock December 8th, is surely one of it's darkest days.
Six years ago today, the world lost an amazing guitarist and songwriter in "Dimebag" Darrell Abbot. He was killed on stage in Columbus, Ohio at theAlrosa Villa club, a few songs into the Damageplan set.
