Aerosmith Cancels Show
Well, that sucks.
Well, that sucks.
Aerosmith's, Steven Tyler is single again.
1325 Commonwealth is the address where the guys in Aerosmith all lived when they started writing songs for their first albums, and it's now an official historic landmark for Boston and fans of the band. To celebrate, you can see some Patriots football players, including Tom Brady, signing some championship balls for the band, and then a performance of some old songs for the crowd.
There's been some silly controversy surrounding the new Aerosmith CD, with Steven Tyler jumping onto American Idol, fighting with Joe Perry, words said about him being out of the band, then back in, never ousted. It almost began to sound like a publicity machine gearing up for new album promotion. Hmmmm.
Aerosmith are releasing their first new album in a LONG time (like 11 years), and have been filming the first video for the song "Legendary Child". The song was written originally for the "Get a Grip" album, but has been reworked for the new CD.
According to Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton, there’s a simple explanation for what inspired he and his band mates to talk trash about singer Steven Tyler during last month’s ’60 Minutes’ interview — reporter Lara Logan’s copious cleavage. Yeah, that would work on us too.
Recording a duet with Miley Cyrus must have triggered some sort of collaboration fever for Bret Michaels. For his new album, ‘Get Your Rock On,’ he broke out his rolodex and lined up a veritable who’s who of rock ‘n’ roll luminaries, including members of KISS, Pantera, Van Halen, Aerosmith and more.

A recent fall suffered by Steven Tyler had people wondering if he'd "fallen" off the wagon.
