Scheduled Road Construction And Closures For El Paso This Week

While the city is ecstatic the Border West Expressway is finally open, there is still quite a lot of construction happening on El Paso Roads. We've finally seen some of the major road projects coming to a close, and the improvements are making the commutes home better and better! Still, there are some projects that are just getting started or are getting the finishing touches. To make sure you're not stuck sitting in traffic due to construction on your commute, you've come to the right place. West Area Closures

Transmountain Project

Transmountain west and eastbound between US-54 and Tom Mays State Park reduced to one lane in both directions. Bike lane closed.

Mesa Rehabilitation Project

Sun, Sept. 20 - Thurs, Sept. 24 (9 pm - 5 am NIGHTLY)

Mesa northbound between Baltimore and Brentwood complete closure.
Mesa southbound between Sunland Park and Festival complete closure.

Mon, Sept. 21 - Fri, Sept. 25 (7 am - 4 pm DAILY)

Executive east and westbound between Mesa and Paisano alternate lane closures.

Saturday, Sept. 26 (3 a.m. - 8 am)

I-10 westbound at Executive complete closure.

Sunday, Sept. 27 (4 am - 3 pm)

I-10 eastbound between Sunland Park to Schuster complete closure.

Bridge Maintenance Project

Sun, Sept. 20 - Thurs, Sept. 24 (9 pm - 5 am NIGHTLY)

I-10 eastbound between Piedras and Raynor complete closure.

Sun, Sept. 20 - Thurs, Sept. 24 (7 am - 5 pm)

Piedras northbound right lane closed.
Gateway East at Piedras alternate lane closures.
West and eastbound turnarounds at Raynor closed.
South and northbound between Raynor and Gateway West left turn lane closed.

US-54 Overlay Project

Mon, Sept. 21 - Fri, Sept. 25 (7 am - 5 pm)

US-54 southbound between New Mexico State Line and McCombs outside lane closed until further notice.
US-54 north and southbound between New Mexico State Line and McCombs alternate lane closures.

US-54 (Service roads) Overlay Project

Mon, Sept. 21 - Fri, Sept. 25 (97 am - 6 pm)

Gateway North and South between Yandell and Pershing alternate lane closures.
Crews will be striping.

Loop 375 Overlay Project

Mon, Sept. 21 - Fri, Sept. 25 (9 am - 5 pm)

Loop 375 west and eastbound between Railroad and Dyer alternate lane closures and / or complete closure.
Loop 375 eastbound between Bomarc and Railroad exit ramp closed.
Loop 375 westbound at McCombs on-ramp closed.

Guardrail Repair

Mon, Sept. 21 (9 am - 4 pm)

I-10 eastbound between Anthony and Vinton left lane closed.

Tues, Sept. 22 (9 am - 4 pm)

I-10 westbound between Noble and Ange right lane closed with complete Dallas on-ramp closure.
Doniphan eastbound exit ramp closed.

Wed, Sept. 23 (9 am - 4 pm)

US-85 eastbound between Doniphan and Executive right shoulder closed.
I-10 eastbound at Raynolds exit ramp closed.

Thurs, Sept. 24 (9 am - 4 pm)

I-10 westbound at Paisano exit ramp closed.
