Scheduled Road Construction And Closures For El Paso This Week

While the city is ecstatic the Border West Expressway is finally open, there is still quite a lot of construction happening on El Paso Roads. We've finally seen some of the major road projects coming to a close, and the improvements are making the commutes home better and better! Still, there are some projects that are just getting started or are getting the finishing touches. To make sure you're not stuck sitting in traffic due to construction on your commute, you've come to the right place. • Eastbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic at US 54.

• Mesa southbound lanes between Sunland Park and Mesa Hills complete closure.

• Mesa northbound lanes between Baltimore and Brentwood complete closure.

• Mesa northbound between Baltimore and Brentwood reduced to one lane.
• Mesa southbound between Sunland Park and Festival reduced to one lane.

• Mesa and Mesa Hills intersection between Festival and Crown Point alternate lane closures.
• Mesa and Baltimore intersection between Cincinnati and Gregory alternate lane closures.
• Mesa and Argonaut intersection between Castellano and Montecillo alternate lane closures.

• Transmountain west and eastbound between US-54 and Tom Mays State Park reduced to one lane in both directions. Bike lane closed.

• I-10 westbound between Raynor and Piedras complete closure.
• Turnarounds at Raynor and Piedras closed.

• US-54 southbound between New Mexico State Line and McCombs outside lane closed until further notice.
• US-54 north and southbound between New Mexico State Line and McCombs alternate lane closures.
• Stan Roberts closed at US-54 north and southbound until further notice.

• Gateway North and South between Yandell and Pershing alternate lane closures.

• Loop 375 west and eastbound between Railroad and Dyer complete closure.
• Loop 375 west and eastbound between Railroad and Dyer alternate lane closures.

• South Americas Avenue (frontage road) northbound to southbound turnaround complete closure at North Loop Drive

• South Americas Avenue traveling public traffic detour at Zaragoza Road to Alameda Avenue

• Joe Battle Boulevard southbound left lane closure from Lyman Dutton Circle to Zaragoza Road intersection
• Joe Battle Boulevard northbound left lane closure from Montwood Drive to Zaragoza Road intersection

• Montwood Drive eastbound complete lane closure between Joe Battle Boulevard and Firehouse Drive

• RM 652 continuous left lane closure 8.36 miles east of FM 3541 to Reeves County Line
• Continuous 2-way traffic, 1-lane work zone requiring traffic to be alternating onto one lane and controlled by Temporary Traffic Signals with a 14’ vertical clearance

• RM 652 continuous left lane closure 5.4 miles east of Montana Avenue (US 62/180) to RM 1165/652
• Continuous 2-way traffic, 1-lane work zone requiring traffic to be alternating onto one lane and controlled by Temporary Traffic Signals with a 18’ vertical clearance
