Rotary Club Of El Paso Still Serving The Area After 100+ Years

They have been in action since 1914 and they aren't letting up.

Believe it or not, the El Paso Rotary Club has been providing events, entertainment and support at various levels to the El Paso community for an incredible 108 years.

In all those years they have been a help to countless people and organizations while also giving folks throughout the Borderland fun stuff to do. Donating is all well and good but if you can have some fun while you're at it, it's a win-win. Right?

Some of the things that benefit from their support include:

• Rotacare. A fee clinic that offers health care services to El Pasoans are under or "un" insured, Mexican nationals, migrants and others as well as offering them assistance finding ongoing care.
• Scholarships. Quinn Scholarships are offered by the EP Rotary Club to students who have met certain requirements.
• Youth Clubs. The Rotary Youth Club along with the Rotary's Youth Leadership Awards and "Interact" are a few of the ways that they help, encourage and support El Paso's young 'uns.

Some of their special events include a children's Christmas party, the Texas Ramp Build and more as well as various social functions.

Those social functions include their 9th annual wine fest, the only wine fest held IN downtown El Paso. It,.by the way, is Saturday ... more info here.

Whether you help them by attending an event, making a donation of time, goods, services or money ... or flat out joining the Rotary Club ... they could use the help as "35 percent of the public is unfamiliar with any Rotary program, or  local clubs". (source)
