The El Paso Downtown Streetfest was a huge weekend for El Paso with thousands of El Pasoans and Las Crucians (is that right? Las Crucicans? Las Crucianites?) congregating in downtown El Paso for two nights of fun stuff to see, great food, and amazing concerts from Theory of a Deadman, Candlebox, Filter, Kansas, Saliva and Blue Oyster Cult!

I wandered around all weekend, taking pictures of the bands, the food, the fun stuff, and the crazy staff members as they partied with everyone for our big Independence weekend! Make sure to turn the captions on to see a quick description of each photo, so you can see who is who!

The best part of this past weekend's big celebration? You get to celebrate AGAIN on Wednesday! So it's like having TWO holidays within a week! How awesome is that?

Here's how we kicked off the shows each night, of course with our National Anthem, as sung by Travis, one of our first graduates from El Paso's new medical school! (He's also a classically trained singer!)

I'm already looking forward to next year's Streetfest, and if you want to see more from the weekend, we have our Streetfest 2012 hub live here!
