Official Soda of Texas is Unveiling a Tropical Surprise

Texans, it's time to get excited because Dr. Pepper has just unveiled a new flavor!

Dr. Pepper has had many flavors over the years; Dark Berry, Cream Soda, Cherry and even Cherry Vanilla- and the latest addition of Strawberries and Cream was such a success! So the news of another flavor shouldn't surprise us!

Just in time for summer- Dr. Pepper's newest flavor is giving us some tropical vibes: I introduce you to Dr. Pepper Creamy Coconut & Dr. Pepper Creamy Coconut Zero Sugar!

The flavor will be sold in 12-oz 12-packs and also 20-oz bottles, the company said, and "brings together the perfect combination of the original 23 Dr. Pepper flavors with layers of tropical coconut flavor and a delicious, creamy finish."

For those of us who loved to mix Dr. Pepper with Malibu in college- this one should bring back some memories! This new addition is a limited edition and should hit stores by May 1st through the end of July!

This new flavor comes off the heels of the release of the Coconut Lime creamer that Coffee Mate collaborated with Dr. Pepper on!

Since the creamer is coconut flavored, I'm assuming Dr. Pepper was inspired and probably decided to release a flavor similar to this dirty soda trend! I have yet to find the creamer so I'm hoping I'll have better luck with the Creamy Coconut flavor!

Well, it looks like this summer the tropical vibes will be elevated with the release of this Dr. Pepper flavor!
