There is a bike run tomorrow to benefit area veterans!

The run is for Project Amistad.  Among other things, this program maintains and equips homes used by American military veterans while they readjust to civilian life, find new lines of work, and/or get an education.  They have the buildings, now they need things to make them "homes".

Financial donations rock but they are also in need of furnishings, office supplies and electronics like TVs and computers.  Even "time and effort" donations are appreciated, especially if you are an electrician, plumber, contractor, etc.  They can use your help!

The bike run, sponsored by The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, is to raise money as well as necessary items.  Registration is from 11:30 - 1:00 at Barnett Harley - Davidson 8272 Gateway East.

From there, roll to The Rock House on Montana, Twin Peaks in the Fountains At Farah mall, the American Legion Hall at 3730 Shell and the final stop is VFW Post 812 near the entrance to McKelligon Canyon!

That's where the party is!!  Plenty of food and drinks as well as a tattoo contest, a live auction, dismounted biker games, the keg toss, live music and you could win some cool prizes in the raffle or cash in the 50/50 drawing!  Whether you have a bike or not, come out and have some fun while helping our local veterans.  I'll be emceeing the party so, trust me, you'll have a blast!
