More Road Closures for El Paso Starting Today

Why couldn't TxDoT have started at one end of town and worked their way through instead of destroying everything at once!?

As the great El Paso makeover continues, the downtown area is about to see some more road closures. According to the El Paso Times:

Beginning Thursday, Texas Avenue at Kansas Street, south of Paisano Drive in Downtown, will close for about two weeks. The closure will allow for construction crews to continue underground work related to the streetcars.

Some roads are coming back though! Friday, we get San Antonio back at Kansas. Next week, Kansas re-opens at Father Rahm Ave. At the same time though, some lanes of Mesa Street at Father Rahm Avenue will close. SMH. I'm sure there's more coming so, click here for help keeping up with it all.
