Major Scheduled Road Construction For West El Paso This Week

With all the construction and road closures in west El Paso, you would think it couldn't get any worse for drivers on the westside. Well, you're wrong.

Doesn't matter if you're traveling during the morning or afternoon rush hour, it looks like some of the construction on the westside could affect your commute.

The big issue? Starting Tuesday at 9 p.m., the entire Resler flyover ramp will be shut down. The shut down will last five complete days and nights until Monday, October 30th at 6 a.m.

Here are the rest of the major closures for El Paso this week:

SUNLAND PARK DRIVE

• WB Sunland Park (towards Doniphan) closed between Mesa Hills and Sunland Park Entrance Ramp to I-10 WB. Vehicles can still enter the I-10 EB Sunland Flyover Entrance Ramp.

• I-10 EB Resler Flyover Entrance Ramp CLOSED

SUNLAND PARK DRIVE

• I-10 EB Entrance Ramp for Sunland Park by Shamaley dealership CLOSED
• DETOUR: Use the Sunland Park Flyover Entrance ramp

I-10 WEST AT ASARCO

• I-10 WB Asarco Bridge to Buena Vista left lane closed

I-10 WEST AT RESLER

• I-10 WB COMPLETELY CLOSED at Resler Exit Ramp
• I-10 EB left lane closed at Sunland Park
• Resler Flyover Entrance Ramp to I-10 EB CLOSED
• Sunland Park Entrance Ramp to I-10 WB CLOSED
