Irish actor Liam Neeson has been nominated for an Oscar, 2 Tonys, 3 Golden Globes and a BAFTA. He's been named one of the Sexiest Film Stars in History, as well as one of the top 100 Movie Stars of All Time, by Empire magazine. New Mexicans better keep their eyes open in Northern New Mexico because the star will be filming his new movie in the area.

Liam Neeson's new movie is action-thriller "The Minutemen," about  "a retired Vietnam veteran who finds himself responsible for the life of a young boy being hunted by the cartel assassins," according to Variety. There's been a push in the state of New Mexico for film productions to film in rural areas, according to the Albuquerque Journal. The production will hire over 250 New Mexicans as crew and actors and have begun filming. Locations for filming include the Jemez Pueblo, To’Hajiilee reservation, Albuquerque, Belen, Rio Rancho, according to KRQE.
