"I hate not you, I hate what your people are doing to this country." Sir, are you aware what the brand FUBU stands for?

At a weekend confederate flag rally in Stone Mountain, Ga., one of the attendees got into a discussion with an African-American man, George Chidi, who videotaped the encounter. Chidi talked to the attendee about his outfit and why he was there. The unidentified man, despite wearing a hat with the KKK insignia on it, was willing to talk to Chidi about why he was there.

Chidi attempted to explain to the man this his shoes were from a brand called FUBU. FUBU was created by Daymond John, known for his role as a "shark" on the television show "Shark Tank." The name FUBU stands for "For Us, By Us." The saying is talking about how African-American entrepreneurs can created their own fashion brands and profit, keeping the fashion sales in the African-American communities. Unfortunately, the man wearing the shoes didn't get the memo or even understand what the brand was about.
