YouTube is arguably THE biggest video streaming website out there. There's a good chance you've seen many new artists on the platform or you love to watch classic videos every day. And as a result, these videos get TONS of views; but only a few have hit the coveted ONE BILLION VIEWS (just over 400 different videos according to YouTube itself). One of those videos includes our very own Khalid; who became the first musical artist from El Paso, Texas to break over one billion views on YouTube.

Which Khalid video broke over a billion views?

It's actually a joint effort between 2 pop superstars: Billie Eillish & Khalid. The song they wrote together that was featured in Season 2 of the Netflix show "13 Reasons Why". The somber yet hauntingly beautiful duet between the two called "Lovely" released back in 2018.

At the time of this writing, the video has a total of over 1.8 billion views on YouTube. The song also reached #64 on the Billboard Top 100 & has been certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA. Not too shabby I might say.

There are more Khalid videos that are close to breaking a billion videos

If you go to Khalid's YouTube channel, you can find at least 3 more videos that currently have over 500million views. These videos include "Location" with over 556 million views,

Better with 914 million views,

and Young Dumb & Broke being the closest with 915 million views.

At this point it's a matter of time before we see more Khalid videos hit a billion views. Which one will it be? We'll see in the future. But nevertheless, congrats to Khalid for joining the YouTube Billion View Club!
