It's no secret that I'm a Judas Priest fan. If this is a surprise for you, you haven't been paying attention, but that's okay, I haven't been, either, I've been listening to Priest and throwing devil-horns all day. It's a cool year, as it's the 30th anniversary of their monster album "Screaming for Vengeance", which came out, of course, in 1982.

I know, a lot of you weren't born then, but that's okay. You can still enjoy this music, it kicks serious ass from front to back. AND you'll get some live bonus tracks and the DVD of Priest's US Festival show from 1983.

Historical Note: The US Festival was a huge music festival thrown by Steve Wozniak, who used to be a big part of Apple computers. There were around 300,000 people there, and the bands couldn't drive in, but had to be flown in by helicopter.

If you've only heard the songs played on the radio, then you're missing out on some fantastic music! Check out "Bloodstone", "Riding on the Wind", "(Take These) Chains", "Fever" and "Devil's Child", songs that go mostly unappreciated, and you'll see why this was a breakthrough album for Priest. And then just enjoy the damn metal, already!
