Today on the KLAQ Morning show, May Pang who is best known as the former lover of ex-Beatle John Lennon was on to talk about what it was like to spend a year with Lennon and her thoughts about the sons of The Beatles forming their own group.

May  was working as a personal assistant and production coordinator for Lennon and his wife, Yoko Ono. Then in 1973, Lennon and Ono separated and Lennon and May Pang had a relationship that lasted over 18 months, which Lennon later referred to as his "Lost Weekend.

During the interview we asked her how the relationship with Lennon happened.

"It was Yoko's idea.  I was against it at first but finally did it when John approached me about it."

She talked about how John felt about her.

"We loved each other and remained friends until he died."

Her thoughts on the sons of Beatles forming their own group.

"I'm not against it, I just think that they're gonna have a hard time living up to the expectations."
