Those with military ties looking for work in the Borderland will have a lot of companies looking for THEM on Thursday.

Over their last 10 events, DAV, (Disabled American Vets), and Recruit Military have had over 2,000 peeps attend and had 259 exhibitors take part.

The DAV and Recruit Military Job Fair happens Thursday at the Centennial Banquet and Conference Center, located at 11199 Sgt E. Churchill, from 11am - 3pm.

This time around, active duty, veterans, their spouses and dependents can visit with around 40 perspective employers.

Those include Tesla, Wells Fargo, US Army Corps of Engineers, USAA, HCA Healthcare, and several others.

Veterans bring numerous skills from their military background that are fundamental in various roles and industries. Although their service does not automatically qualify them for employment and the job search is not easy, their skillset is what wins the attention of employers and that’s where RecruitMilitary steps in. Our mission is to empower veterans with meaningful employment by connecting them with companies who are looking for their unique skillsets. - Gabby Petticrew/Recruit Military

Registration is free and can be done in advance by visiting the Recruit Military website.

On average, Recruit Military says 4 - 7 interviews are conducted with 2 jobs being offered, again on average, and there are over 300K jobs available at recruitmilitary.com.
