He routinely sends ships to space and when he needs his own space, he relaxes in a space themed, private bar a couple of hours from El Paso.

Blue Origin owner Jeff Bezos is, (with apologies to Meghan Trainor), "all about that space". So much so that he converted a barn on his west Texas ranch into a space themed bar.

The Bezos ranch is near one of Blue Origin's launch sites, 30 miles north of Van Horn, about 120 miles east of El Paso.

It seems, Bezos likes to get blasted ... literally and figuratively ... so, he transformed a building on his ranch into what he calls the Kármán Line Bar.

That line, in case you didn't know, (I didn't), is actually the 60+ mile "gap" between the Earth and space.

Like Bezos’ Blue Origin venture, space is the key theme that appeared to direct the decorations around the bar. This is highlighted by memorabilia including a poster of Yuri Gagarin, who was the first man in space, and even a letter from the renowned American astronaut Buzz Aldrin, who piloted Apollo 11 and was the second person to walk on the Moon after Neil Armstrong. - people.com

The space theme even extends to the "rocket ship" mixers and "porthole" glasses that were modeled after Blue Origin's rocket capsule.

Quirky? Sure. Eccentric? Maybe a little. When you have the cash to operate your own spaceport ... and beat out your only competition ... you can be as "eccentrically quirky" as you want to be.
