Uh oh Instagram......maybe being greedy little monsters wasn't the best thing to do. Now, the state that LOVES suing people is coming after you! Residents of the state of

California are now able to sue the company being able to sell our photos. Personally, if someone wants to advertise how awesome my dog Tubby looks like in winter fashion by all means go for it. He loves the exposure.

Users of Instagram however, are upset at the way the company changed its terms of service allowing itself to sell our pictures off to advertisers. A lot of people have become Instagram phenomenons and were upset that their pictures that have gained them such recognition now don't belong to them.

The lawsuit states:

"In short, Instagram declares that 'possession is nine-tenths of the law and if you don't like it, you can't stop us."

Residents of California awho also feel the same about the way Instagram is treating their users are allowed to become a signatory in the suit. That includes angry celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Tyler the Creator, Anderson Cooper, Jonah Hill, Jordin Sparks, Khloe Kardashian Odom, Lauren Conrad, Rosario Dawson and a lot more.

Now if I know one thing about California, it's that we LOVE suing people for the stupidest things. And a lot of the times, we win. A restaurant I used to work for there gets sued all the time and about once a year, I get another letter discussing a new lawsuit and if I sign over my right to sue for the same thing they will give me my equal share of the winnings. I worked there for 3 years so the least amount I got was $100 and the most? $460 for lack of break times. Yeah, that's how California rolls.

But don't think Instagram's parent company, the almighty Facebook, is going to roll over and take this. They have released the statement:

"We believe this complaint is without merit and we will fight it vigorously."

I'm eager to see how this ends. Until then I'll continue putting pictures of my dog up there. Tubby loves it.
