When Ghost came to El Paso last week, they rocked the living hell out of Tricky Falls, but before that, they stopped by the KLAQ studios to do a more stripped-down performance.

If you watched the previous video at the link above, you heard Papa Emeritus say that Ghost would be returning to El Paso in the fall. That will presumably be after the first leg of their international tour. Of course, we'll bring you more information on that as soon as we have final confirmation.

Until then, we leave you with this devastating performance of the bands cover of Roky Erickson's "If You Have Ghosts."

If you've never heard of Austin-born Erickson, you've probably at least come across "You're Gonna Miss Me," by the 13th Floor Elevators -- the band Roky fronted in the late '60s. It's the best song ever featuring a dude playing a ceramic jug.

Erickson was diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic and spent time in a mental institution in the 70s. He became a recluse for years before resurfacing on and off through the 1990s.

Anyway, if you want to compare Ghost's cover to the original, here you go.
