How To Get To Bowen Ranch and The 2016 El Paso Balloon Festival

The El Paso Balloon Festival lifts off from a new spot this year, the Bowen Ranch in far Northeast El Paso. Right on the Texas - New Mexico state line.

The balloon glow and soldiers salute happen at Bowen Ranch Saturday (5/28) and the balloons launch from Bowen Sunday and Monday morning, weather permitting. (5/29-5/30) After the launch, stick around for trail rides, cattle drives, live bands, a few drinks, great food and more. Getting there is easy, just follow whichever of these simple directions applies to you!

I was out at the ranch a couple of weeks ago and the setup is pretty cool. There will be lots more there to see and do for the whole family in addition to the launches so, plan on making a day of it. The launches are free, tickets for all the other activities are available here.
