Though most of you will agree it is not a one day thing.

It all began in 1908 with a woman named Anna Jarvis when she held a memorial for her mother. She then organized a campaign to make it an actual recognized holiday and in 1914, it did! It is celebrated the second Sunday in May. (If you're Mexican like myself, we have some lucky Moms because we celebrate it May 10th as well).

So today is the day when we show our Moms how much we love them and appreciate everything they do for us.

My brothers and I are super lucky to have the mother that we have. I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for her (I mean, I drove her car to work). She's done so much for us and no matter what dumb stuff we do ... and trust me we do a lot ... she is always there.

She's shown us respect, love, happiness and even mechanics. Just one day a year isn't enough for us to show her (as many of you as well) how much we enjoy her company and appreciate and love her.

So remember, its not about gifts or things, its about spending time with her and enjoying family time. With that being said, Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Mothers out there. (Love you Mami!!)

Here's a great idea to try from Stewie!

I shared some photos of my Mom ... so feel free to share your photos with your Mom here and/or at the KLAQ Facebook. :)
