Gene Simmons Of Kiss Sings The National Anthem

Gene Simmons of Kiss has written and sang hundreds of songs.  Maybe he should have left this one off the list...

I'm just not sure whether or not it was a good idea.  He didn't do a horrible job but, it wasn't great either.  It happened before the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings played each other in London yesterday.  (Why the heck they were playing over there I couldn't tell you.)  I missed the beginning so I don't know if they televised the pregame stuff or not.  If they didn't, or if you just missed it, here is Genes performance.

Regardless of how you feel about Genes' rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, he did a better job with it than The Pittsburgh Steelers did against The Minnesota Vikings!!  The Vikings owned The Steelers, beating them 34-27.  (Maybe Ben should sing and Gene should play football!?!?)

The Steelers are now 0 and 4 and even quarterback Ben Roethlisberger says that they suck.  Ben told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that:

“Right now you could say we're the worst team in the league.”

After yesterday, I believe him!
