Freeway to Close At Night 3 Times In West El Paso This Week

The City of El Paso is continuing to grow. To maintain this growth, construction is a necessary evil for people in the city. This week on the west side, there will be full closures of Interstate 10 causing severe congestion in the area. If you want to keep from getting stuck in traffic for awhile, make sure to avoid these areas this week during these times.

May 30 and 31

I-10 and Sunland Park (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

• I-10 and Sunland Park
  • FULL CLOSURE of I-10 in both directions at Sunland Park Exit
  • Traffic will detour on ramps along freeway

June 1

I-10 and Sunland Park (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

• I-10 and Sunland Park
  • I-10 Westbound at Sunland Park Exit will close completely
  • Westbound traffic will exit Sunland Park and take Mesa Street back to I-10 where they can get back on the freeway
