Now I only say the entire family could benefit because of what you can expect at Fire Fest. If you or someone you know is interested in learning a few things from the Fire Department, then make sure to attend on Saturday, October 1.

If you have considered joining the fire force then do know there will be fire department demos as well as a recruiting unit. But kids will definitely not be bored since they will get to enjoy looking at the fire truck displays they will have.

If you remember the excitement you felt checking out a fire truck then you know your kids will enjoy it as well. But you won't just be hearing sirens at Fire Fest since there will be live music and DJs.

Plus, if you love freebies then you should know you can walk away with some prizes. The whole family will love the interactive displays as well as the games they will have to play.

You can be sure to join in on the fun which will be from 2 pm to 8 pm on October 1. You can enjoy this free event at the Beast Urban Park on 13501 Jason Crandall Drive.

This kind of event benefits the El Paso community and definitely worth a visit if you have time. So make some plans to check out the El Paso Fire Department's First Annual Fire Fest next month.

LOOK: The top holiday toys from the year you were born
