One of the biggest celebrations of the year is coming up, and one website decided to look at the best and cheapest cities to celebrate in.

New Year's Eve is one of the biggest party holidays of the year. People get dolled up in their sparkly best, splurge on fancy dinners and the biggest nightclubs to make sure they start off the New Year on the right foot. But if you decide to go out of town for New Year's, you can end up spending a small fortune for that good time. The personal finance website WalletHub decided to look at where they think the best place to spend New Year's is, as well as what cities give you the best bang for your buck.  WalletHub looked at 100 cities and used 25 key indicators like the average price for a New Year's Eve party ticket, nightlife options, hotel prices and more to decide which were the best cities and the cheapest cities to enjoy the holiday.

While El Paso came out on the lower end for entertainment and food ranking (63 out of 100) our safety and accessibility ranking was good (16 out of 100). And we did come in at number 1 when it came to the cost. Good thing people know if they want to come to El Paso for New Year's Eve, you don't have to blow a ton of money to make sure you have a good time.

Just be glad we're not in New York City, which came in the highest price range for everything.
