Sunday morning, officers from the El Paso Police department were called to a local Denny's restaurant responding to a 911 call that involved a fight with weapons.

My momma always said, "Nothing good ever happens after 2 a.m."  But, from experience I know that little bit of wisdom is especially true at any Denny's Diner, and based on what happened this weekend, I'm right. According to EPPD, "The original comments of the call stated that the suspects had knives, and later witnesses heard possible shots fired."  After investigating they uncovered that a 23-year old Hispanic male and three other men were involved in a physical altercation.

After fighting, the 23-year old Hispanic man ran to the Denny's looking for help. That's when the other three men involved in the fight entered the Denny's and made the 23-year old run outside. That's when witnesses reported what they said sounded like gunfire. That's when everyone involved peaced0out and ran from the scene.

After searching the area, officers with the El Paso Police Department found the 23-year old Hispanic male, and surprisingly, he had no injuries from the fight. Nobody has reported being shot, whether gunshots were or were not fired is still unclear at this moment. In the end, the 23-year man wasn't interested in filing charges or making a complaint, and was reported as being very uncooperative with police officers.
