El Paso Bacon Fest Costume Contest Winner

Bacon lovers came out to Bacon Fest with empty stomachs and full wallets. A few special people even dressed up in bacon-themed costumes. Everyone took a few minutes to stop munching on bacon to help choose the best in bacon during the Costume Contest, presented by Sun City Scifi. 

Hosted by KLAQ's Lisa Sanchez and KISSFM's Patty Campos, the contest winners were decided by audience applause. I did notice some confusion during the event, when we narrowed the contests to three, but then four came out of no where. Don't worry, we get things fixed when we get down to the top 2 finalist.

It came down to Bacon Man and a Bacon & Eggs couple. Of course, everyone loved the adorable Bacon Man and he walked away with first place. He gave all the credit to his mother for helping him and hopefully will give her some money for all her hardwork.
