August 21st, parts of America will get to see a total eclipse!

The eclipse will happen August 21st and will be seen by most states. According to hollywoodlife.com, residents of these states get the "real deal", a full on, total eclipse. Yep, darkness in: Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

NASA has set up an official website for this one that offers information and tips on how to safely view the first solar eclipse over America in about a century. At no point, during partial or even total eclipse, is it safe to look directly at the sun. Believe it or not though, they do make "sunglasses" that allow you to do that! Click here to see them.

What little of the eclipse we get to see here in El Chuco will peak at approximately 11:47am, August 21st.
