So I was on Facebook today, online shopping for some Christmas gifts for me when Facebook asked if I would like to send a gift to my friends far away....and have them get it right now. Easy, quick, and I didn't even have to wrap them!

Facebook Gift cards are available through your own Facebook and you can even get them in stores as well. Your can get them as $5, $10, $15, $25, and $50 increments. They can also be purchased as a bundle for $250 so grandparents can get all the grandkids their gifts as once.

These giftcards can be used for any of the Facebook apps that people love playing. Judging by the number of invites I get to play Zooville and Farmville it's becoming an obsession. Giving someone a Facebook gift card could even get someone wanting to play them more.

You can give gifts through Facebook as well. I was able to give one of my friend's a bottle of good Robert Mondavi wine through Facebook that was delivered to him in Austin. Also, you can give Starbucks ECards through Facebook that can be redeemed instantly at any Starbucks. You can even pick the E Card that comes with the gift. It's amazing how when you buy one friend a Starbucks card how many of your friends come up as Starbucks fans as well! You can get the same thing for ITunes as well.

To get either of these easy, online gifts, simply go to the Facebook app store on the left hand side of your home screen. From there, you are able to give gifts to any of your friends and pay for them right there.

Happy late minute holiday shopping!
