Deftones have partnered with a San Diego based brewery to create their own unique brew.

The Deftones have teamed up with San Diego's Belching Beaver Brewery to bring to us the taste of "Phantom Bride." The new brew is an IPA with a "hoppy West Coast style India Pale Ale loaded up with Mosaic, Amarillo, Simcoe, and Citra hops." All the flavors of this beer were hand-picked by the Deftones frontman Chino Moreno.

Here's what Chino had to say about the band's new brew:

"Really excited to see our Phantom Bride IPA hit the shelves. As a huge beer connoisseur it was a privilege collaborating with Belching Beaver on the flavor profiles and coming out with a beer that I would put right up with any of my favorites. Good stuff!"

Phantom Bride IPA is available in 22-oz. bottles and even in draft! It's brewed and bottled by Belching Beaver Brewery in Oceanside, California.

The beer will be available now through distribution outlets in Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Hawaii and California now, and through craft beer retailers on October 3rd. No word yet on which local establishments will be selling this beer.

The beer is named after the Deftone's newest single, "Phantom Bride," off of their new album Gore. The Grammy Award-winning band's newest album is currently in the Top Ten at Rock Radio.
