And we can all thank the Carolina Panthers for it.

I may not be a huge football fan (or to be honest a fan in any way), but the Carolina Panthers have done something that has caught my attention. A group of players have invented a new trolling activity that is even better than the popular "Rick Rolling."

It's called "Creedbombing."

To accomplish the perfect Creedbomb, one must recite Creed lyrics into a person's face with a deep, intense stare in their best Scott Stapp voice. Best to do it at random times, when a person least expects it. Personally, I've been Creedbombing for years after a few cocktails I just didn't know it was an actual thing. I just really like freaking my friends out.

The creators of the Creedbomb are Carolina Panthers Ben Jacobs, Greg Olsen and athletic performance analyst Brett Nenaber. The men attempted to surprise each other during practice and in the locker room with their best Creed impersonations.

Jacobs told the Charlotte Observer,

“The key is you’ve got to make really deep, direct eye contact. So if you Creedbomb someone you’ve got to look them directly in the eye. We were just talking about how when we were younger bands like Creed and Nickelback were big. We were laughing with the raspy voices and how much we still kind of liked the songs. It just started turning into singing it randomly, you don’t even think about it. It’s taken on a life of its own."

The world should go out now and start Creedbombing! I know I am tonight.
