Concert To Check Out: Every Time I Die Tonight At Tricky Falls
I woke up this morning all tingly with excitement for this show tonight! This is a band if you don’t know about you should.

My personal favorite album has to be their 2003 release “Hot Damn!” And no, it’s not just because there is a lot of cowbell use in it. The lead singer of the group, Keith Buckley, actually majored in English in college so the band’s lyrics were complex and mentioned the literary greats such as Milton, Shakespeare, John Donne and Chaucer. That would probably one of my favorite parts of this band. The way they make everything have a deeper meaning but still give me the lines I can quote drunk like, “When in Rome we shall do as the Romans, when in hell we do shots at the bar.”
If you love the vocals from Buckley, you should check out his side project the metal super group The Damned Things. The members of this group include Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley of Fall Out Boy, Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano of Anthrax, Keith Buckley of Every Time I Die and Josh Newton formerly of Every Time I Die. Their single,” We’ve got a situation here” really shows off Buckley’s vocal range. One of the reasons I love him so much.
The show is tonight at Tricky Falls, doors open at 6 PM with bands starting at 6:30. Tickets are $15 and you can purchase them at holdmyticket.com
