Coachella concert goers are being asked to stop attempting to mail out their  tax returns from the festival.

Over a hundred thousand people flock to the Coachella valley for the annual music festival Coachella. Tens of thousands of people camp in the makeshift villages on the property and spend the entire weekend on the Indian Wells Polo Grounds. Because people are there all weekend, the festival sets up all the amenities a person would need. There is a grocery store, food vendors, hair salons, and even a small post office.

Most people that send out things from the festival grab post cards, t-shirts and other goodies to send to their jealous friends back home. This year though, some concertgoers are trying to mail out something a little more time sensitive.

Their taxes.

At least 10 people at the festival this year attempted to mail their tax returns through the Coachella campground's post office.

Megan Hampton is the post master for Coachella's tiny post office, located inside of a life-size version of a Lincoln Log cabin.

When asked by concertgoers to take their returns, Hampton tells them she "can't just take them."  A woman was also turned away after she attempted to send a pre-paid package she sold on Ebay. The wedding invitations a couple wanted to have a Coachella stamp on? An exception was made.

But keep the tax returns at home.
