Another week, and another list of street closures for El Paso.  Find out what areas of El Paso will be impacted this week.

The City of El Paso is continuing to grow. To maintain this growth, construction is a necessary evil for people in the city. This week on the west side, there will be full closures of Interstate 10 causing severe congestion in the area. If you want to keep from getting stuck in traffic for awhile, make sure to avoid these areas this week during these times.

I-10 and Sunland Park Drive

August 13-17 (9 pm to 6 am daily)

  • I-10 in both directions 1 lane from Sunland Park Drive to Executive Boulevard

I-10 and Sunland Park Drive

  • FULL CLOSURE at Sunland Park
  • Sunland Park Overpass CLOSED
  • DETOUR: West- Exit Sunland Park and re-enter at next ramp; East- Exit Sunland Park and re-enter at next ramp. Traffic on Sunland Park use Doniphan or North Mesa Street.

I-10 and Sunland Park Drive

August 14 (9 pm to 6 am daily)

  • FULL CLOSURE at Sunland Park
  • Sunland Park Overpass CLOSED
  • I-10 West Sunland Park Entrance Ramp CLOSED
  • DETOUR: West- Exit Sunland Park and re-enter at next ramp; East- Exit Sunland Park and re-enter at next ramp. Traffic on Sunland Park use Doniphan or North Mesa Street.

I-10 and Sunland Park Drive

August 14-18 (9 am to 4 pm daily)

  • Sunland Park Exit Ramp I-10 West will be reduced to one lane up to Sunland Park Drive.

I-10 and Sunland Park Drive

August 14-18 (9 am to 4 pm daily)

  • No right shoulder on Sunland Park Flyover Ramp to I-10 East but ramp will be open

I-10 and Mesa Street

August 14-18 (9 am to 4 pm daily)

  • I-10 East North Mesa Exit Ramp CLOSED
  • South Desert Boulevard CLOSED from Thorn Avenue to North Mesa Street
  • DETOUR: I-10 East traffic exit Redd Road, take Doniphan to North Mesa

I-10 and Sunland Park Drive

August 15-16 (9 am to 4 pm daily)

  • The left turn lane onto Sunland Park Drive from the westbound Sunland Park Exit Ramp will close. Traffic will still be able to turn left. Follow signage.
