Check out Dr. Suess’s Birthday Party with Junior League of EP

Tomorrow, come out and celebrate the birthday of the late, great Dr. Suess with book readings, arts, crafts and more!

Tomorrow, the Junior League of El Paso and the Houchen Community Center are celebrating the birthday of one of best children's books writers of all time! The celebration will focus on healthy eating and fitness along with literacy. There will be Dr. Seuss storybook reading for the kids to enjoy along with arts and crafts. Kids can also enjoy an obstacle course and a build your own Cat in the Hat healthy snack! There will also be books to take home and birthday goodies!

The sheriff's and fire department will also be in attendance for the kids to meet and check out their cool equipment! Also, don't miss meeting Chico, the El Paso Chihuahua's mascot!

Dr. Suess's birthday party is from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Houchen Community Center, located at 609 Tays Street. Find out more details at the event's Facebook Page.
