Today's the day to celebrate one of our favorite things to drink- beer! September 28th is National Drink Beer Day and there are plenty of different beer options that you can enjoy today. We're talking porters, lagers, ales, stouts, hefes and so much more. There's an endless amount of beers for people to choose from and see which craft beer is the right one for you.

While you celebrate this holiday, you should also celebrate local watering holes too. There are plenty of great locations across El Paso that are perfect for enjoying the great weather (it's only support to hit the low 80s today) and grab an ice-cold beer.

Gringo Theory- With plenty of outdoor activities, this far eastside spot is always great to sit outside and enjoy a drink at.

Deadbeach Brewery- This downtown brewery has a great patio you can sit on while you enjoy one of their various staples and even their limited edition brews. Don't forget to try some of their delicious grub while you're there. I recommend the Heartbreaker, it's my favorite beer they have on tap.

Old Sheepdog Brewery- Underneath the spaghetti bowl in South Central El Paso is this local gem that has a nice outdoor patio where you can relax with your beer. Make sure to stop by Galeria Lincoln next door and see stunning art made by El Pasoans.

LoveBuzz- This Central watering hole has a recently remodeled patio with plenty of space for you and your friends to enjoy. Grab these last bits of warm weather with a refreshing beer tonight.

Good Times at 2626- Located by UTEP in the Cinci Entertainment District, Good Times took a patio and turned it into a green oasis in the middle of the party district. Never mind that it's fake grass, it's still just the place you need to relax.

Benny Franks- On the far east side of El Paso, Benny Frank took ordinary shipping containers and became a spot known for great food, great drinks, and an atmosphere you can't beat.

Hoppy Monk- A staggering 70 beers for you to choose from and a staff that knows their beer. Hoppy Monk is the local spot where beer consumers can meet.

Hope and Anchor- This is one of the best patio bars in El Paso. From the outside, you don't see what a stunningly beautiful bar awaits you inside at Hope and Anchor. No massive flatscreen TVs where people can zone out watching sports, this is a bar where you come for good conversations and good drinks.
